You can find lots (and I mean lots) of at 永久脫毛 which personally I wasn’t drawn to. In terms of lasers and intense skincare treatments I am one of those those who likes to get a professional to work their magic on me, instead of seeking to become one by getting a kit from my local pharmacy. I went along to a clinic within my hometown which had recently opened for some treatments.

I visited about 2 sessions, but didn’t see any results – Whatsoever. So, it was fair to express I wasn’t planning to waste any more money. Strike one. FYI – I understand people who have had treatments of IPL done (mainly all Asian/Indian kinds of skin) and i also have already been told it requires lots of sessions to view results. I have also been told by my current laser technician (and head trainer & educator of Polaris Hair Laser Removal) that IPL will not work on Indian skin and contains temporary benefits. It basically isn’t the very best laser for very long term hair-free fuss.

The next time round, I went for a YAG laser but to my luck, my technician had blagged her distance to making me think she was doing us a favour. When in reality, her so named YAG laser was even more of an IPL treatment then other things. I will tell you it made my hair just a little fainter, but nothing drastic – and i also had a minimum of 6 sessions. Once again, I wasted not merely my amount of time in travel but a lot of money! Strike two.

For the past 5 months roughly We have been seeing a lovely laser technician, who lucky to me, is located in the same county as me! I needed told her all of the problems I have had previously with laser hair removal and she provided her honest and professional advice. She explained to me that IPL isn’t quite effective (especially on Asian skin) for 永久脫毛. It really works whilst you are receiving it done but give it a year approximately and you may see your hair growth returning. The penetration from the laser isn’t as deep and doesn’t target the hair follicle to the extent as being a YAG laser does.

I then explained the so-called YAG laser treatment I had been getting before visiting her. Which is when she did a bit digging (in her spare time) and informed me that I had been missold my laser treatment. The laser which I was getting done was more similar to IPL compared to a proper YAG laser. It absolutely was much more of a diode – basically which means I wasn’t going to get the identical results has I would personally have having a proper or do i need to say real YAG laser!

She then explained information on her laser. The laser she uses will be the Long Pulsed Nd: YAG Laser by Polaris Medical. She is a professional educator/trainer for this particular laser and has been in the market for 20 years – she basically knows her shiz.

This laser can be used hair removing of hair on all skin types, light to dark. One of many advantages of this laser is that its melanin absorption is very low. Melanin is exactly what gives your skin it’s colour. The greater melanin halbfl have, the darker your skin layer and vice versa. Due to it’s low absorption of this, there is very little risk of the epidermis to obtain damaged by hyper/hypo pigmentation. This means that the long pulsed Nd:Yag lasers is idea for for hair removal on medium to dark skin!

Pre-laser Treatment

I have to go with clean, lotion/potion free, makeup free, perfume/deoderant free and hair free. Yep, so that you must shave in advance (everywhere you need to target!). This is and so the laser can arrive at the folicle without any hair strands getting in the manner.

I actually have learnt the tough way by accidentally having some perfume on my neck and also the laser burning my skin – luckily it wasn’t that bad (my Elizabeth Adren Eight Hour Cream sorted me out!). However, this really is common and may happen.

During Laser Treatment

During the laser session, the part/s of the body are sectioned off (as you have seen within the picture above). The 永久脫毛 is used with the air-conditioning type cooling tube that is hovered within the area of the skin since it is getting lasered – this is so you don’t feel the heat. The sensation of getting this done is similar to someone poking you using a needle. Depending on your pain threshold or the region you possibly will not feel it whatsoever.
